Lincoln County Health Department (LCHD) will be holding a vaccine clinic at the Tomahawk Public Schools on Thursday, November 10 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. This free clinic is available to all students attending Tomahawk Public Schools and is funded through a grant received by the LCHD.
Vaccines that will be offered include Influenza, Meningococcal, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), and Tetanus, Diphtheria, acellular Pertussis (Tdap). “It is very exciting to be able to offer vaccines to students of all ages,” said Mindy Schwarz, Public Health Nurse for Lincoln County Health Department.
The vaccine clinic is free, voluntary, and during parent teacher conferences from 5:00 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. at the Tomahawk High School Library. This is a walk-in clinic, no appointments are needed. A parent(s)/guardian(s) must be present.
Parents/guardians are asked to make certain their child is dressed appropriately so their upper arm is easily accessible.
