Join us for a Conversation on Food Security in Lincoln County

Food Security is defined as access to all people, at all times, to enough food for an active, healthy life. To learn more about food security in Lincoln County, we invite you to join us for a conversation on food security in Lincoln County. There are two opportunities to join the conversation.

  • Tuesday, March 28, 2017 from 8:30 – 11:00 a.m. at Ministry Health Sacred Heart, Tomahawk, Spruce Room
  • Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 8:30 – 11:00 a.m. at Lincoln County Service Center, 801 N. Sales Street, Merrill, Room 156.

Participants will learn and share with each other food security issues in our communities, as well as what are the available resources. Facilitator will be Art Lersch from UW Extension – Lincoln County. Presentation from Glenda Kummerow and Carl Jackson from Lincoln County Economic Support.  A continental breakfast will be served.
